அழுக்காற்றின் அல்லவை செய்யார் இழுக்காற்றின் ஏதம் படுபாக்கு அறிந்து.

Azhukkāṟṟin allavaï seyyār izhukkāṟṟin Ētam paṭupākku aṟintu.

Those who understand that shame brings ruin will not commit acts unbecoming to them—such is the restraint of the wise.
