தாமின் புறுவது உலகின் புறக்கண்டு காமுறுவர் கற்றறிந் தார்.

Thāmin puruvāthu ulakin purakkantu Kāmuruvar kaṟ aṟindh thār.

When the learned perceive the world's decay, they cease to crave what passes. This is the fruit of knowledge: the extinction of appetite.
