நாடாது நட்டலிற் கேடில்லை நட்டபின் வீடில்லை நட்பாள் பவர்க்கு.

Nāṭātu nattalil kēṭillai natṭapin vīṭillai natpāḷ pavarkku.

There is no loss in befriending without inquiry; but once befriended, there is no escape from friendship for those who hold it.
