எரியால் சுடப்படினும் உய்வுண்டாம் உய்யார் பெரியார்ப் பிழைத்தொழுகு வார்.

eriyāl sudappadinnum uyyvundām uyyvār periyārp pidaithozhukkuvār

Though burned by fire, one may yet live. But those who walk in the shadow of the great and do their bidding—they are lost.
