அறன்கடை நின்றாருள் எல்லாம் பிறன்கடை நின்றாரின் பேதையார் இல்.

Arankaḍai ninrārum iḷḷām pirankaḍai ninrārin pēdhaiār il.

Among those who stand at the gate of duty, none are foolish; but among those who stand at another's gate, there is no wise one.
