சீர்மை சிறப்பொடு நீங்கும் பயனில நீர்மை யுடையார் சொலின்.

Sīrmai siṟappodu nīṅkum payaniL nīrmai yudaiyār solin.

Nobility departs from one who lacks discernment when the wise counsel restraint. / The vain man loses his standing through empty words.
