குன்றேறி யானைப்போர் கண்டற்றால் தன்கைத்தொன்று உண்டாகச் செய்வான் வினை.

kunRereyi yaanaippo:r kaNdaRRaal thankaittho:n̪ṛu uNdaagach cheyvan vinai.

He who has not witnessed elephant-war upon the mountain will devise a deed born of his own hand—wrought by his own counsel alone.
